Celebration of Life for Jessica LeAnn (Wood) Phipps was September 12, 2025 at Wilson Mortuary Chapel, Salem, with Pastor Veronica Lato officiating. A eulogy was shared by her daughter, Heather Oostveen.
Mrs. Phipps was born September 18, 1972 in Houston to Michael and Helen (Taylor) Wood. She married William Phipps. They were the parents of three children. Mrs. Phipps died September 7, 2025 in Rolla at the age of 52 years.
Survivors include her daughters, Angel Hunter and husband, Andrew, Salem; and Heather Oostveen and husband, Josh, Laquey; parents, Michael and Helen Wood, Salem; brother, Travis Wood, Ellington; grandmother, Betty Wood, Salem; grandchildren, Dominic, Alys, Logan, Braylon, and Cory; loving companion, William Phipps, Salem; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Preceding her in death were her son, Cory Phipps; and grandparents, Ervin and Wandul Taylor and Ralph Wood.
