Dorothy Jean Shanor, born March 23, 1953, in Florence, Arizona, passed away March 30, 2026, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-three years.
Dorothy is survived by her siblings: Robert Shanor of Salem, MO, James Shanor of Mississippi, Linda Shanor of Salem, MO, Eugene Shanor and Shari Swaringen of Imperial, MO, and Kathy Stuart of Mississippi; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents: Louis and Viola (Bacon) Shanor; brother: Herbert Shanor; sister: Barbara Shanor; and niece: Stacy Shanor.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, April 4, 2026, in the Wilson Mortuary Salem Chapel with Pastor Chris Hendrix officiating. The family was served by Wilson Mortuary of Salem, Missouri.
