Salem woman seriously injured in Reynolds County crash

A 75-year-old Salem woman was injured Feb. 15 resulting from a one-vehicle crash that occurred on Highway 21 in Reynolds County four miles south of Ellington, according to an online report of Troop I of the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
A 2014 Jeep Renegade, driven by the Salem woman, was southbound at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 15 when it traveled off the left side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree.
The Salem woman suffered serious injuries in the crash and was transported by aircraft to Mercy South in St. Louis for treatment.
The Jeep sustained moderate damage and was removed from the scene by Assie’s Towing.
